What does the appendix do again?
Dear Reader,
As hinted in last week’s newsletter, the Score family experienced a bit of drama.
Full-Time Audio Dan decided to implode (pretty sure this is the medical jargon the surgeon used) his appendix. It was one of those “if I can explode an organ, how can I make it really, really bad” situations.
In true Score fashion, beach vacations were cut short and family members descended upon the hospital to show our support by mostly making fun of the patient.
[Audio Newsletter Appendix-less Dan note: For the sake of accuracy, my appendix turned out to be perforated; it didn’t rupture (or explode). Which, as it turns out, is still not a good time. It is fun to say that it exploded, though.]
Thankfully he’s on the mend at home and back on light newsletter duty. I am very relieved! Welcome home, Dan! Now go take a nap.
Xoxo,
Lucy
